About Angie
Angie has been working in healthcare for over 21 years. She graduated from The Christ Hospital School of Nursing in 2004 and subsequently obtained both her BSN and MSN from The University of Cincinnati. She worked in the Same Day Surgery and PACU units as an RN and has worked as an APRN for the past eight years, spending one year in Gastroenterology and the past seven years in Addiction.
Starting around 2018, Angie was experiencing a lot of swelling, abdominal pain, nausea, chest pain, brain fog, fatigue, hot flashes, and mood swings. She felt she was dying a slow death. All testing was “normal.” Knowing this did not match with how she was feeling, she dove into studying functional and root cause medicine. In her quest for wellness, she took courses through the Institute of Functional Medicine and the School of Applied Functional Medicine, earning Level 1 Certification. She started changing her nutrition and lifestyle but realized she needed extra help because symptoms were lingering. She became a patient at Covenant Natural Health Care and realized this is exactly where she was meant to be! Angie is dedicated to educating people about their bodies, empowering them to be the best versions of themselves, and improve their quality of life. She credits Covenant Natural Health Care for helping her feel healthier and better than she has in decades!
When not at Covenant Natural Health Care, Angie enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and their families, traveling to Southwest Florida, reading, and yoga.
